rahul gandhi
operations manager
operations@quebecdrama.org

Rahul Gandhi is an artist in every sense of the word. Wearer of many hypothetical hats, he’s been an actor, director, creator, and producer. His first role was over ten years ago, and in the years since, he’s performed in community, independent, and professional stages, as well as on the big and the small screen. Born and raised in Montreal, he falls deeper in love with the city with every passing year.
He holds a BFA in Acting for the Theatre, a Graduate Diploma in Communications, both from Concordia University, and is an alum of Black Theatre Workshop's Artistic Mentorship Program. He is co-artistic director of Tantalus, a theatre company that is now working on the currently postponed What Rough Beast by Alice Abracen, which was to be presented as part of Brave New Looks at Centaur Theatre.
The Quebec Drama Federation has always been a brilliant organisation in the eyes of Rahul, who has fond memories of seeing his first QDF calendar launch several years ago. The Montreal arts scene is where he feels most at home, and the isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic very strongly reminded him of the importance of community. There’s a strength that artists have been starved of, and that is the strength of each other.
He is excited for his new adventure as Director of Operations, in the spirit of being a part of something bigger than himself, and to be in a position to work towards a more connected future for fellow members of the Quebec drama community, alongside fellow members of the Quebec drama community.
More about Rahul:
He loves video games, loves photography, he can quote far, far too much of The Lord of the Rings, and he really does put Frank’s Hot Sauce on everything.
