The Overture is a QDF pilot project under our visibility pillar. The goal of the project is to support the Quebec English Theatre community in the wake of a notable decline in arts coverage, a decline we are seeing on a national scale.
In its pilot year, The Overture publishes two previews on a monthly basis, spotlighting two English Theatre shows that are taking place that month. The shows that are featured in our monthly editions are selected via a lottery system which opens to our membership two months before.
